Wade Chappell, Principal
A West Georgia native, Wade has been an Atlanta resident since the fall of 1994 when he began his college education at the Georgia Institute of Technology. After graduating Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a Certificate in Building Construction, he worked as a consultant in the information technology field for Accenture until 2002. Wade's construction experience is varied, working his way through college on the commercial side of contracting at Brasfield & Gorrie as an Assistant Project Manager, where he was assigned to a $9M church project and a $30M high-rise office building. His experience goes back even further than college, all the way back to grade school when he worked summer and after-school jobs for various skilled trades & builders in the residential construction industry.
At Macallan, Wade oversees all field operations, managing contracts and clients on the $1M fee based custom home contract, all the way down to the subcontractor on the speculative home construction. Also under Wade's umbrella are business & product development, project estimating, resource management, and most importantly client & buyer relations.
Outside of work, Wade is an involved member of Wieuca Road Baptist Church, serving as Chairman of the Properties Committee and as a member of the Personnel and Pope & Land Oversight Committees. When Wade isn't at work or giving back to the community, you can find him either fishing or playing whiffle ball with his two young children, Hampton and Lottie.
