MATT MOORE

General Counsel

Matt Moore joined Macallan in 2025 and serves as General Counsel. In his role, Matt is responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of the company, including corporate governance, risk management, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and support for the company’s development, acquisition, and financing activities. He works closely with Macallan’s leadership team to structure transactions, manage outside counsel, and ensure the company’s legal and business interests are effectively aligned.

Prior to joining Macallan, Matt practiced as a commercial real estate attorney for more than 10 years with two Atlanta-based law firms. His practice focused on the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of commercial real estate projects across the Southeast.

Matt received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vanderbilt University and earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Matt lives in Sandy Springs with his wife, Kim, and their three young children.
